The Playtest is open

LeManager's Steam Playtest is live. One season, Windows and macOS, and I'm approving everyone who asks.

The Playtest is open

LeManager is a football management game built for people who want the depth of the classics without losing an evening to a single season. I’ve been building it on my own since August 2025, and from today you can play it.

The Steam Playtest is live. Go to the store page, click Request Access, and you’re in, I’m approving everyone.

What’s in this build

One full season, with everything the game does: squad building, scouting and transfers, training, tactics, and the match engine. The season cap is the only limit; nothing is switched off.

It runs on Windows 10 64-bit and on macOS with Apple Silicon, in English, French and Spanish.

What I need from you

Two things above all.

Crashes and anything that stops you playing. The Windows build is the newest part of this, so it’s where I most expect trouble.

The match engine. Do the results look right? Do the scorelines, the way players behave, the shape of a game feel like football to someone who knows football? That’s the part I can’t judge alone, and the part everything else rests on.

Before you report something, have a look at the known issues. A fair amount is already on that list, including match engine behaviour I’m working on, it saves you writing it up and me reading it twice.

Where to send it

The Discord. That’s where I read everything, and where you’ll hear what changed and when. Steam discussions work too, but you’ll get an answer faster on Discord.

I’d rather hear that something is wrong now than after release. Thanks for playing it early.

Until next time. Just one more match.
